Giselle remains passionate about ongoing professional development to ensure that innovative, inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based approaches are implemented. Integrating multisensory strategies to support regulation with individual strengths and interests in therapy, help to achieve optimal learning and in turn, improve each client’s ability to connect with the world around them.
Areas of special interest include reschool and school-aged motor speech disorders, play-based therapy for speech and language development, visual and communication supports for Autistic children, and language-based literacy interventions for struggling readers.
