
Registered Social Worker
Angela is a registered social worker with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers. For the majority of her career, she has been working in the area of mental health and addictions with focus in the understanding and treatment of a variety of addictions. Angela has experience treating individuals and their families who've been affected by a variety of addictions, including substance use, gambling, and compulsive sexual behaviours.
Angela has worked with youth, adults, couples and families with a variety of identified concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief/bereavement, emotional regulation and stress management.
Angela employs a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of clients, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) , Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) , Motivational Interviewing, Structured Relapse Prevention and Harm Reduction strategies. These approaches are utilized under a trauma informed lens and strength-based perspective. She has also completed training in crisis response and ASIST.
Angela thrives to provide an environment that is holistic, non-judgmental and inclusive so clients have a safe space to gain understanding and knowledge to achieve their identified goals.

Cyril has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and organizations in different roles ranging from disability management to the provision of counselling services. He holds a Master of Social Work degree as well as Bachelor degrees in Arts, Education and Social Work. He is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Consultant in Training and is currently working on becoming a Somatic Experiencing (SE) Practitioner. He has provided counselling services in a hospital setting, public health community setting, military setting and private practice. He has been providing counseling services, workplace facilitation services and critical incident support services since 2013.
Cyril recently retired as a civilian clinical social worker from the Department of National Defense (DND) following a 13-year career where he provided mental health counseling to Canada’s soldiers at 9 Wing Gander, NL. Following his departure from DND, he started working full time in private practice in Gander, NL providing in-person and virtual mental health counselling and consulting services. Cyril provides therapy services to teenagers and adults for a variety of mental health concerns. He has a special interest in working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, stress-related coping behavior, complicated grief, operational stress injuries (OSI), Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), trauma in general and workplace issues.
Cyril believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives and works collaboratively with clients to develop a treatment approach that best suits their needs and objectives. He draws primarily from attachment theory and utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego State Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Wendy is a Clinical Social Worker from central Newfoundland with a strong commitment to service. After retiring from the Canadian Armed Forces, she pursued a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Master of Social Work from the University of Waterloo. She brings over 16 years of experience supporting both serving and non-serving veterans, including providing counselling services.
Wendy is completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Gerontology with Laurentian University and provides specialized counselling, and assessment and consultation for older adults, their supports and allied health professionals, an often underserved area. She is also completing her End of Life Doula certification to offer holistic, non-medical aid to individuals who are dying and their loved ones.
Wendy works with adults from all walks of life, using trauma-focused care and rehabilitation following injury, illness, or complex life experiences. Her approach is primarily somatic (body-centered), grounded in a holistic view of wellness. She integrates modalities such as, Somatic Experiencing® (SEP®), EMDR, Transforming Touch® (TTP®), and Reminiscence Therapy, and is currently training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Her work reflects emerging recognition of safe, consent-based therapeutic touch as an effective support for nervous system regulation, trauma recovery, and overall well-being.
Wendy honours each client’s autonomy and preferences, integrating evidence-based approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing when desired. She has completed addictions training through McMaster University and is experienced in comprehensive psychosocial and addictions assessments. Wendy is committed to meeting clients where they are, working collaboratively to support their health and wellness goals, and currently offers both in-person and virtual appointments.
